Focused on spontaneity and social connections, ShowUp surfaces hyperlocal events happening right now, making it easy to participate without planning ahead. Key features include a Live Event Map & Radar, which highlights trending events based on the user’s location, and a Drop-In & RSVP System, allowing users to show up or RSVP instantly. The platform also ensures Verified Hosts & Creators can list events with media and QR check-ins, bringing structure to spontaneous gatherings. In-App Stories & Highlights let attendees share real-time photos and updates, encouraging others to join. Popular among Gen Z and young urban professionals, ShowUp has become a favorite in college towns, music scenes, and food truck circuits. Built with Flutter for Android and iOS parity, it uses Firebase for real-time geolocation and event streaming, with a custom event engine and creator dashboard for easy event management and community engagement.
